Wairere Falls series
Wairere Falls is the highest waterfall in New Zealand's North island, it plunges 153 metres (500 feet) in two steps over the Kaimai escarpment. The waterfall is located between Te Aroha and Matamata
It is a walk I enjoy with the river running through lush bush and moss covered boulders.
These drawings are a celebration of drawing as well as the feeling I get from being there. The history of the place, did my ancestors once walk the track that leads over the hills
